We tested Stan, the robot that only parked cars at Roissy airport

Gone are the unbridled quest of a place, worried about the car when you get off the plane … Now, when you want to book a car park in Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, you can, at no extra charge, opt For Stan, the “automatic valet”. It is actually a robot that only runs your vehicle! We tested this new service, experienced since early February, before its official presentation this Wednesday by Aéroports de Paris (ADP) and the start-up Stanley Robotics.
First step: reserve your parking space on the Paris Airport site. If you opt for the terminals 2E and 2F, for at least 24 hours, the option “Automatic valet” will be proposed. Once the parking is paid online at the usual rate (39 € for 24 hours), go to the chosen time on the space dedicated to the colors of Stanley Robotics. Simply enter your booking code on the touchpad, take out your luggage, close your car and go on your flight. A Stanley Robotics employee comes to make sure everything is ok and reassures me. If one has entered his return flight number, one is certain to find his vehicle in the same place, without waiting, at the descent of plane.
