UAE’s Dubai International Airport (DXB) has launched its new sleep ‘n fly lounge at Terminal 3

to provide an additional relaxation option for passengers.

Featuring a Scandinavian-design, the new lounge comprises 20 advanced ‘igloo’ sleep pods and seven premium double cabins, Yawn, with pull-out children’s beds.

Covering a 4m2 area, each Yawn cabin features reading lights, a coat hanger, full-size mirror, bedside table, carry-on baggage storage, and a fold-down table attached to the wall adjacent to the bed.

Situated in Concourse A at DXB, the facility allows passengers moving through the airport to rest for one-hour, an entire night, or any duration in between.

Dubai Airports Commercial Group executive vice-president Eugene Barry said: “The opening of sleep ‘n fly expands Dubai International’s existing range of rest and relaxation options, and is the latest in a line of personalised and engaging products we are rolling out to cater to the evolving needs of global travellers.”

“We continue to identify new options for travellers in airport terminals worldwide and the sleep pods provide a unique way to rest and unwind while waiting for their flight.”

The sleeping pods and cabins can be reserved by Collinson Group’s Priority Pass and LoungeKey members of the airport.

Collinson Group director Justin Banon said: “Collinson Group is delighted to partner with sleep ’n fly and provide new options for Priority Pass, Priority Pass Select, and LoungeKey customers travelling through Dubai International.

“We continue to identify new options for travellers in airport terminals worldwide and the sleep pods provide a unique way to rest and unwind while waiting for their flight.”

The new sleep lounge at DXB will be operated by Onground Hospitality, an operator of airport sleep lounges at airports.
